Alicia and Michael’s outdoor Meridian, MS, wedding ceremony took place under a majestic oak tree on her parent’s property that was special to her as a child. The tree was exquisitely decorated with five suspended chandeliers by Davaine Lighting. Antique wooden church pews were set beneath the oak providing the unique ambiance of an outdoor church sanctuary.
This stunning setting also provided a perfect occasion for the bride’s parents to lovingly reaffirm their marriage vows in celebration of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. Alicia and the rest of their family stood beside her parents during this special time. What an honor it was for Alicia and Michael to share this day with her parents… it just does not get any sweeter than this!
I loved the laid back atmosphere of the ceremony as guests were treated to a pre-ceremony cocktail hour with butler passed refreshing drinks by Pretty Presentations Catering. Lemonade and spiked blueberry lemonade were the most popular choices on this summer evening in June.
