It’s so important to make sure you feed your wedding party, so visit partypros.ie and make sure they have this ready for you for the wedding day. You may need to provide both breakfast and lunch if they have to arrive early enough for both. A lot of the times the bridesmaids will have a much longer day than the groomsmen so it may be just the girls that will need both breakfast and lunch provided.
Brides and Bridesmaids usually start the wedding day pretty early in the day…between 8:oo a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The time will always depend on the hair and makeup schedule, but the more bridesmaids you have needing hair and makeup the longer it’s going to take. Unless of course, you have multiple hair stylists and makeup artists rather than just a couple.
If you are providing breakfast for the bridesmaids you could play it simple and have donuts from Lee’s Donuts in Meridian. AKA the BEST donuts you will find anywhere!! If the bridesmaids will be at the bride’s house getting ready, in a suite or a bed and breakfast a nicer breakfast may be desired. Whatever you provide just make sure you provide breakfast if they will be there during normal breakfast hours.
Some brides will have a bridesmaids luncheon on the wedding day. I don’t recommend this since there is usually not enough time for this on the actual wedding day due to hair and makeup taking a while. A lot of brides opt to have the bridesmaids luncheon the day before the wedding and I think this is always the best scenario. If you are not having a luncheon on the wedding day some other options for lunch that are easy and popular would be a chick-fil-a nugget and wrap tray or a subway tray. Cater’s Market in Meridian has great options as well such as their chicken salad and awesome dips. Grab a few of those and you will have an easy and delicious lunch for your girls.
If the groom and groomsmen don’t have to arrive to the ceremony location until about mid afternoon they may have already eaten lunch, but I always suggest having some food available for them or snacks at least. A subway tray is always a great option for the groom and groomsmen.
