It was such an honor and privilege to be a part of Dana and Andrew’s February wedding! Dana is actually my husband’s first cousin so I was more than excited when she contacted me about flowers and directing. Dana was a dream to work with, she knew exactly what she wanted and was very detailed oriented.
Their day began at the home of the bride’s parents; a historic home in Old Towne Clinton. It was the perfect backdrop for their first look photos as well as wedding party portraits. Looking back through their wedding photos the bride’s first look with her dad was the sweetest moment! Robby Followell, of Followell Fotography, heard Dana say to her dad during the father/daughter first look “For months I’ve been thinking about what it was going to feel like when I saw you on my wedding day.” 🙂 🙂 🙂 So, so sweet! Dana is such a sweet and caring person and actually took the time out of her wedding day to send me a sweet text once we delivered her bridal bouquet that said, “These flowers are amazing. Exactly what I wanted!!” I was thrilled to say the least!
Their ceremony was held at First United Methodist Church in Clinton, MS. The church is beautiful as it is so we didn’t have to do too much floral wise. We added two beautiful arrangements in the churches gold urns to the altar and adorned the pews with candles and greenery as well as the windows. The Mississippi Museum of Art was the perfect location for their reception. Dana and her family have always had a love for art so I thought the Museum fit her perfectly. Their wedding day was held on Mardi Gras so Dana purchased masquerade masks for the guests to wear during the reception and had mini king cake wedding favors that were the cutest and they tasted so yummy! To sum their wedding up in three words would be elegant, classic and timeless.
Thanks to Followell Fotography for taking amazing photos once again. These guys never disappoint!
