Megan and Justin’s beautiful Northwood Country Club wedding took place this past March. We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their outdoor ceremony.

They exchanged vows on the golf course, followed by cocktail hour on the deck, a seated dinner inside the dining room and lastly drinks and dancing.

I was excited when Megan came to me to help her plan her MS wedding. Megan is from Rhode Island and Justin is from California, but they are living in Mississippi since Justin is a pilot in the navy working out of Meridian. I love that they decided to marry in Meridian, bringing their closest family and friends to the South for their sweet celebration.

With them not being from the South they both desired a formal, seated dinner for the reception. It’s not too often we get to plan seated dinner receptions around here and we love when we get to do something different. Chef Henry at Northwood created amazing hors d’oeuvres for the cocktail hour with three different meal options for the dinner. They wanted their guests to experience good, Southern food and chef Henry prepared just that.
