Kirsten and Philip had their summer wedding at Castle Grove Plantation in Meridian, MS. Kirsten had planned for an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception.

On the day of the wedding it started raining during the final hours that we had left to get her floral arch set up for the ceremony. They really wanted the ceremony to be outside as planned, but the rain was in the forecast for most of the afternoon.

We left the decision up to Kirsten and her Mother and they ultimately decided to have the ceremony outside as planned. I am so glad they did because once it was time for guests to start arriving the rain cleared out and the sun was shining.

It may have been raining while my team installed the floral arch, but it was worth it to have this beautiful backdrop for their ceremony.

Kirsten, Philip and their family were the absolute best to work with! I say it all the time, but we seriously get to work with the most kind, sweet and caring couples ever! Makes me love what I do even more. 🙂
