Caroline and Lawson had a gorgeous Christmas wedding in Meridian, Mississippi the weekend before Christmas. I have done several Christmas weddings before, but was so excited when I found out Caroline and her mother wanted to go with Christmas colors and greenery. We used beautiful red and white flowers with lots of gorgeous greenery that included smilax, magnolia, elaeagnus and lots of varieties of eucalyptus. The ceremony backdrop was probably one of my favorites to date and the smilax filled floral chandelier that was suspended over the dance floor was another favorite.
Caroline and her bridesmaids started the day getting ready at The Century House Bed and Breakfast before heading to First Baptist Church for the ceremony. The Meridian Coach provided transportation for the wedding party the entire weekend which made getting from point A to B so easy and laid back. They all got to relax and enjoy a fun filled weekend celebrating the beautiful bride and groom. After the ceremony guests headed to Northwood Country Club for an evening of dinner, drinks and dancing. Santa Claus made a surprise appearance at the reception and walked around and had his picture taken with the guests! It was such a fun touch. They ended the night with a confetti toss during the last dance with red, green and white confetti. As guests were exiting for the sparkler farewell we passed out Santa Hats for everyone to wear. It was definitely a perfect day and night and we were so honored to be a part.
