Jourdan and Clayton’s Meridian, MS Wedding was held at Northcrest Baptist Church the last weekend in August. Jourdan and her mother were a joy to work with. I enjoyed our times together designing her beautiful wedding. Jourdan’s taste was classic, elegant and timeless and I think we achieved just that.
The day began with the girls getting ready at the beautiful Century House Bed & Breakfast. They spent the night before the wedding there together and were able to wake up, eat breakfast and get ready together. A fun tradition for brides and bridesmaids! The owner of The Century House always prepares the breakfast which is a perk of staying there!
Northcrest Baptist Church is a large church with a large altar, so it was important for the backdrop to be a large scale design. We had three new arbors custom built that were tall and wide enough to achieve the look we were going for. Jourdan envisioned a simple floral and greenery arbor as the backdrop, but left the rest of the backdrop up to us to create. I loved how the smilax arbors on each side of the main floral arbor turned out. They created a beautiful backdrop for the wedding party.
After the ceremony guests headed to Northwood Country Club for an evening of dancing and photo booth fun. Style the Band had guests on the dance floor the entire evening. When it was time for the reception to end everyone was having so much fun and didn’t want to leave so we kept the party going on for another hour.
