After planning over 100 weddings we hope that we have thought of everything we may possibly need in our wedding day emergency kit.  Anytime someone asks for something that we don’t have we add that to our list and make sure it’s in our emergency kit by the following wedding.  We have two different emergency kits – one for the bride, groom, and wedding party that stays with the wedding director and one that stays with me, the wedding planner.

I use a hard pink tool box as the emergency kit for the wedding party and an open style tool box as my planner’s emergency kit.  I check both kits before every wedding and restock any items that are missing or empty.  I never want to be in a situation where a bride is asking for something that I don’t have, but should have in my emergency kit.
