Have you just completed your first wedding and you’re ready to get feedback from your couple?
I know when you’re just starting out it can be hard to ask for feedback. You may feel scared since you’re brand new at planning. I remember being in your exact position.
I didn’t want to ask for feedback in the beginning because I couldn’t stand the thought of knowing I did something or didn’t do something right.
Now, I know that is crucial to our growth as individuals and as planners.
We can never improve if we don’t know what we need to improve on.
So, I always send a post wedding survey to my couples and usually to the mother of the bride.
It’s fairly simple and asks just a few simple questions and asks for them to leave me a review.

I value feedback from my couples and I’m always striving to improve. It would help me so very much to know what we did well and what we could improve on.
With that being said, if you don’t mind sharing your feedback on any of the following questions you feel comfortable sharing:
- How did I do on the wedding day? (If you have a director or assistant you can ask about how they did here)
- Is there anything I could improve on? And was there anything you noticed that I did well? (or your director or assistant)
- If there is any other feedback you want to give please do so! This helps us better ourselves for our future clients. 🙂 Please don’t ever worry about hurting my feelings. I like to know the good and the bad so we can improve where needed!

It’s really simple, but can be so effective! I love getting feedback from my couples. Not everyone is going to take the time to give you feedback or a survey, but it’s always great to ask.
