Wedding photos are one of the most important parts of a wedding.  Photographers only have one chance to get the photos a couple wants on their wedding day so proper planning upfront is key.  That’s why having a wedding photo checklist is so important.

As the planner, it’s your responsibility to make sure you know about every photo your couple wants.  That way you can make sure none are missed by the photographer. 

It’s always a good idea to check off these specific photos as the photographer captures them.

Today, I’m sharing our wedding photo checklist we share with our couple’s before the wedding.  I always ask them to send me a list of photos they do want in each category along with their family member’s names.   

It just makes everything run so much smoother on the wedding day. I then add their photo list to the master wedding timeline and the photographers timeline.  That way we have every photo listed and can easily check them off as they are captured.

I’ve also added a gender neutral photo checklist so you don’t have to change the title when you paste it into your own document.
