Ashley and Hunter’s Mississippi Barn Wedding at Castle Grove Plantation in Meridian, MS took place this past April. It was a rainy day, but these two didn’t let that ruin their special day.

We planned on having their ceremony outside on the lawn at Castle Grove overlooking the pond. The brides parents had a beautiful cathedral style arbor built and we all really wanted to use it as planned. It was too large to move upstairs to our backup plan so we ultimately decided to have the ceremony on the patio area so they could still be outside during the ceremony.

The only problem with this plan was it wasn’t large enough to accommodate all the guests outside seated in chairs. We were able to place about 20 chairs outside for the family to sit in and the rest of the guests stood inside and watched the ceremony that was live streamed on a large screen on the band stage. Was it ideal; absolutely not. But, everyone made it work and at the end of the day these two were still married and that’s all that really matters. 🙂

They all had such great attitudes about it and didn’t let it effect their spirits at all. It ended up being beautiful and just how it was always supposed to be. Enjoy my favs from their day.
